The US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently updated its MLN Matters Booklet for Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Updates from CMS include the following:
- Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) get payment for hospice attending physician services when provided by specific providers. Attending physician services can take place at the patient’s home, a Medicare-certified hospice freestanding facility, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or hospital.
