The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued two new final rules addressing burden reduction and discharge planning. The final rules are available in prepublication format and will be published in the Federal Register on September 30, 2019. The rules are effective sixty days after publication in the Federal Register.
