The American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) has recently become aware of increased industry discussion about the combined use of tamper-resistant receptacles (TRR), ground fault circuit interrupter receptacles (GFCI), and arc fault interrupter breakers (AFCI) as a patient safety feature in behavioral health care settings.
