The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has published new recommendations by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) on the use of seasonal influenza (flu) vaccines for prevention and control of flu in the United States during the 2023-2024 season. The ACIP voted on these recommendations in June 2023. CDC recommends everyone 6 months and older in the United States get a flu vaccine with rare exceptions.
