The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recently updated its guidance on the discontinuation of isolation for persons with COVID-19 in non-healthcare settings. This guidance is intended for healthcare providers and public health officials managing persons with COVID-19 who are under isolation precautions in settings such as homes, hotels, dormitory rooms or group isolation facilities.
