The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has published a memorandum to clarify the definition of donor in the Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO) Conditions for Coverage (CfC).  This clarification addresses the use of the pancreata for islet cell research that are included in the definition.
