The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Office for Civil Rights (OCR) has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to modify the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Privacy Rule to strengthen reproductive health care privacy.
