The Joint Commission has announced that, effective immediately, the agency is revising requirements for the time frame in which organization must evaluate a licensed practitioner’s ability to provide care, treatment, and services. The revisions are applicable to the Ambulatory Health Care, Behavioral Health Care and Human Services, Critical Access Hospital, Hospital, Nursing Care Centers and Office-Based Surgery accreditation programs.
