The Joint Commission (TJC) recently announced revised requirements for medication compounding, effective January 1, 2024, for their Home Care and Medication Compounding Certification Programs. The revisions are intended to better align TJC standards with the US Pharmacopeia (USP) revisions for medication compounding released on November 2, 2022.
