CDC Updates and Shortens Recommended Isolation and Quarantine Period for General Population

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated recommendations for isolation and quarantine period for the general population. The CDC has shortened the recommended time for isolation for people with COVID-19 from 10 days to 5 days, if asymptomatic, followed by 5 days of wearing a mask when around others.
