According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as of July 15, 2020, hospitals should no longer report Covid-19 data to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Healthcare Safety Network site. Instead, HHS is instructing hospitals to report COVID-19 data under a new system called HHS Protect, using one of the following methods:
