The Joint Commission (TJC) has issued a clarification for the new healthcare equity standard LD.04.03.08, that is effective January 1, 2023. The new standard is applicable to Hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, Ambulatory Care Organizations, and Behavioral Healthcare and Human Services Organizations that are TJC-accredited.
